Kuma Kahua auditions for Rolling the R's

AUDITIONS FOR R. Zamora Linmark’s ROLLING THE R’S Director Harry Wong is seeking an ensemble of seven actors for Kumu Kahua Theatre’s production of R. Zamora Linmark’s play about growing up in Kalihi in the 1980’s Rolling the R’s, opening in late October 2008. Roles are available for four males and three females to portray ages from teen’s to early 60’s. Actor should be able to speak Pidgin (Hawaiian Creole English), and speak with a Filipino accent. Two of the female roles also require speaking Tagalog. Auditions will be held at The Academy of Film & Television, 1174 Waimanu Street, Suite A (behind Tahiti Imports) on Saturday, August 9 at 10am to 1pm, and Sunday, August 10 at 6pm to 9pm.
