Auditions For Scot Izuka’s Mainland Education

Director James Nakamoto is seeking 5 actors for Kumu Kahua Theatre’s production of Scot Izuka’s romantic comedy Mainland Education, opening in January 2009. Roles are available for: 1 local Asian male, early 20’s to early 30’s; 1 Caucasian women, early 20’s to early 30’s; 1 Asian female to play a Japanese national, early 20’s to early 30’s; 1 Asian male to play a Chinese national, early 20’s to early 30’s; and 1 Caucasian male, early 20’s to early 30’s. Auditions will be held at The Academy of Film & Television, 1174 Waimanu Street, Suite A (behind Tahiti Imports) on Saturday, October 25, 11am-2pm, and Sunday, October 26, 6pm-9pm.
