CIRCA Pintig, the Chicago-based community theater company is looking for actors and singers (males/females, ages 16-50) as well as production crew for its upcoming musical play “Game of Trolls: Reimagined.” We welcome multiracial casting. Adapted from Liza Magtoto’s original script staged by the Philippine Educational Theater Association (PETA), the musical play tells the story of Heck, a millennial working for a ‘call center’ determined to distort history in the chaotic world of digital media. His attempt to reconnect with his estranged mother, a former Martial Law activist, forces him re-evaluate his beliefs and his work as a social media troll. With original music by Demetrio Maguigad, the play runs in the Fall at St. Elizabeth Auditorium, Chicago.
