PAPA Seeks Creative Director

The Creative Director is a strategic and visionary leader responsible for overseeing, guiding, and implementing PAPA’s artistic programs and day-to-day operations. The Creative Director leads key organizational functions, including Programs, Producing, Operations and Finance, Membership Recruitment and Engagement, Leadership, and Communications. This role requires a versatile and flexible leader with a passion for the performing arts, a commitment to uplifting pan-Asian and Asian American communities, a strong understanding of arts administration, and the ability to build, engage, and sustain a grassroots community. The Creative Director will ensure that PAPA’s programs are impactful and aligned with the organization’s mission and the General Body’s needs, while providing leadership and support to other volunteer staff, artists, and members of the community.

PAPA is accepting applications from both individuals as well as groups for the position. We particularly encourage early-career artists and arts administrators, who have a strong drive towards community-based work, to apply. While this position requires certain skills, the role will receive an extended period of mentorship and support from the outgoing Creative Director.
