Nominations for Seattle’s Gregory Awards (given out for excellence in Puget Sound theatre by Theatre Puget Sound) are being announced this week, and local Asian American artists are making their presence felt, with a total of ten eleven nominations for the past year’s work (in 2016 the number was six). In addition, eight different theatres are associated with these artists, which suggests it’s not just one singular show, but that a variety of talent is spread out across the area and that a variety of organizations are taking advantage of that talent.
