Seattle’s 2018 Gregory Awards saw Asian American theatre artists continue to make their presence known in the Seattle theatre scenes, as they captured eleven Gregory Award nominations for excellence their work in the Puget Sound theatre scene. The Gregory Awards are a set of honors dedicated to theatre in the Puget Sound, administered by Theatre Puget Sound. This year’s Awards will be presented October 22.
The numbers reflect the work that is part and parcel of Seattle’s theatre scene, with work coming from both large shops and small shops; in 2017, Seattle Asian American theatre artists also received 11 nominations.
