#ModelMinority is an original work about the highs and lows of Asian Americans in the performing arts. This production will be a re-telling/adaptation of first person stories from Asian American performing artists, directors and writers and their struggles with identity and representation in the arts and entertainment industries.

The production will feature original music composed by Bobby Ge, and re-imaginings of some of your favorite musical theater numbers. Donna Ibale – currently the director for Rapid Lemon’s production of Thank You, Dad – will be directing this new work with Cori Dioquino as lead dramaturg and writer for the piece.
