In a magical land, a mother and daughter live in comfortable isolation in a house atop a cliff; everything they could possibly want, they have. Every day, Mother journeys out and every evening she returns to share fantastical stories of love, adventure, and triumph with her daughter. One evening, Mother fails to return back home and stars start to vanish from the night-sky. Her daughter must travel oceans and climb mountains to find her, before the world goes completely dark.

An original musical in development, conceived in residency at Village Theatre; The Lamplighter will be produced as a concert and staged-reading.
