Auditions for 18 Mighty Mountain Warriors

The 18 Mighty Mountain Warriors, "The World's Most Psychotic Asian American Skit Comedy Group," is seeking an Asian American male actor to join the troupe.

The actor must have enough flexibility to be available for touring throughout the year. In 1999 18mmw have possible touring gigs to Riverside, New York City, Los Angeles, Seattle, and Houston among others. The actor should expect to tour about 3 weeks cumulatively in 1999. The actor should also be available for new-material productions that we may do throughout the year, in addition to other local performances in the Bay Area

Qualifications: Since 18mmw is a skit comedy group, the actor must be able to demonstrate ensemble comedy skills. Basic acting skills such as projection, clarity, etc. are also a must. Virtually all 18mmw skits are tightly scripted, so the actor must be able to work with a script. The 18mmw is not an improv group. We also encourage skit-writing, so a desire and ability to write is a definite plus. All else being equal, a member of an under-represented Asian American group will be given preference.

Actor must be local to the San Francisco Bay Area.
