Regarding 911 is a collaborative, multimedia performance, synthesizing
works by over 25 visual, performance, musical and literary APIA artists.
re:911 is an exploration of the events of September 11th and a
reflection of how art can transcribe and transcend the politics of
terror and media terrorism. Ranging from soundscapes of the airport to
renditions of the star spangled banner, from ethnographic monologues in
the face of hegemonic wizards to spoken word about violence, The
Collective brings a multimedia array of voices forward in a time when
conscious art is not only beneficial, it is vital.
