AATC holds open auditions

Asian American Theater Company is holding an Open Auditions for our upcoming season on February 13th, Saturday, 2-6pm, at JCCCNC at 1840 Sutter Street, between Buchanan and Webster. Please bring a headshot, resume and a two-minute monologue. Please call (415) 440.5545 for an appointment.

All ages and ethnicities are invited. Older Asian American actors encouraged. Also specifically looking for African American: M/F (40-60), M/F (10-20),
Caucasian M (20-30, 40-60).

Asian American Theater Company is also offering an audition class on February 10th at 8:00-9:30pm. Learn from a professional actor the secrets of carrying out a successful audition and techniques to craft your monologues. This class can be used in preparation for AATC's Open Auditions on February 13th.

Sean San Jose, Pilipino and Puerto Rican descent, conceived the theatre project "Pieces of the Quilt." His work in new plays and with new writers led to the co-creation of the theatre group Campo Santo. He has performed in various regional theaters across the country, and has been the recipient of numerous awards for his performances including: the Bay Area Critics' Circle Award, the DramaLogue Award, among others.
