Letters From Iwo Jima Captures Outstanding Film Honors at the 2007 AZN Asian Excellence Awards(R)Masi Oka, Rinko Kikuchi, Parminder Nagra, Maggie Q, Kal Penn, Dustin Nguyen, Rex Lee, Mindy Kaling, Margaret Cho and Yul Kwon Are Among the Night's Big Winners at the Star-Studded Event UCLA's Royce Hall played host to the 2007 AZN Asian Excellence Awards(R) presented by JCPenney this evening, attracting some of the hottest stars in film and television. Hosted by Daniel Dae Kim ("Lost") and Grace Park ("Battlestar Galactica"), Hollywood players came out in force to honor Asian and Asian Americans' accomplishments in the arts and entertainment. All the red carpet and behind-the-scenes action will be featured in an hour-long special on E! airing May 24 at 6 p.m. ET/PT, with the full awards presentation debuting on AZN Television on May 28 at 8 p.m. ET/PT. Live performances during the event included Kenny G performing "Moon Represents My Heart," and comedy routines by Margaret Cho, Russell Peters and Dat Phan.
