Zachary Zwillinger Eats People

  • Zachary Zwillinger - Male, an idealistic young man with an insatiable sweet tooth and a hunger for love. Socially awkward and unable to control his yearnings for sugar."
  • Sugar Plum Fairy - Female, Zachary’s current/former girlfriend, the Sugar Plum Fairy of the Nutcracker. Nervous, fragile. A modern-day version of the Victorian woman—somewhere in her closet are the smelling salts."
  • Lauren - Female, Zachary’s friend and confidante, who—not being made of sugar—has nothing to worry about. A witness to Zachary’s unfortunate attempts at a sustained romance."

Halfway Café

  • Blue -Male
  • Red - Female
  • Ensemble

Fetish

  • Jazz - Mid-twenties recent college graduate who is set to marry his girl friend of 3 years Jesse in 6 months. Jazz is a confident, charming, and patient gentleman. He depends greatly on his friends for advice and support.
  • Jesse - Early twenties a tom boy at heart with girlie qualities. Most of her friends are guys and her best friend is a flamboyantly gay queen Carlo who she relies on to divulge into her feminine side.
  • Bam Bam - Mid-twenties is Jazz’s best friend and best man in his wedding. Bam Bam represents a caricature of typical male stereotypes and his mannerisms and responses are often exaggerated.
  • Rocky - Late-twenties works in sales at a marketing company. He enjoys playing a father figure to his friends and being the voice of reason, logic, and experience.
  • Carlo - Jesse’s best friend. He has a flare for style fashion and design. His mannerisms are extremely flamboyant and mood swings are entertaining.

Overdue

  • Bill - Male, early 30s; attractive but it’s sometimes hard to tell from his lack of effort. Most of his life follows this theme of unrealized potential. He’s gotten by for so long on a combination of dumb luck, natural ability, and unconscious charm that he doesn’t really know how to work for things."
  • Anne - Female, late 20s; the opposite of Bill. Also attractive, but because she works at it. Where Bill is an embodiment of unfocused natural ability, Anne is proof that you can take a little talent and stretch it a long way with hard work. Everything she has, she’s earned twice over."
  • Kim - Female, early- to mid-20s; young, pretty, but not so pretty that you would wonder what she was doing at a speed date."

"Where are we going, where have we been?"

  • Ben - Asian-American; 32 years old; works as a customer service rep for an insurance company; thoughtful fellow whose nonchalance hides a fear of failure.
  • Dom - Asian-American; 33 years old; always between jobs; his charismatic and occasionally over-the-top personality sometimes compensates for a lack of self-confidence.
  • Merry - Asian-American, 31 years old; career-oriented woman who works as a junior account executive with a tech magazine; a Type-A personality who always needs a purpose with anything she does."

"You, Me, and Jose Luis" (title pending)

  • Kacey – a woman in her mid 20’s
  • Bridget – a woman in her mid 20’s
  • Jose Luis – an attractiveman in his mid 20’s to early 30’s
