Submission Date for the FOX Entertainment Group sponsors the 7th Annual CAPE Foundation New Writers Awards Has Been Extended To March 17, 2006The Coalition of Asian Pacifics in Entertainment (CAPE) Foundation, Inc., a non-profit arts organization, announces the deadline extension for the FOX Entertainment Group sponsored 7th annual CAPE Foundation New Writers Awards (CFNWA), with submission criteria now available through the CAPE web site (www.capeusa.org ). Winners of the CAPE Foundation New Writers Awards will be announced at the CAPE 15th Year Anniversary Celebration (Friday; May 5, 2006; Universal Hilton) and will each receive a cash prize of $2,500.00 (U.S.), writing software, a staged reading of their script in addition to opportunities to meet and/or pitch to a panel of seasoned entertainment executives. Returning as Co-Chairs of this yearπs CFNWA is Executive Producer for Spike TV Leo Chu and literary manager Angela Cheng Caplan. CAPE's Board of Advisors include distinguished executives and artists such as Ang Lee, John Woo, Terence Chang, Dean Devlin, Warrington Hudlin, David Henry Hwang, Lou Diamond Phillips, Richard Sakai, B.D.
