Los Angeles ‹ (August 19, 2010) ‹ The Coalition of Asian Pacifics in Entertainment (CAPE) Foundation, Inc., a non-profit arts and entertainment organization, proudly announces Ms. Nina Tassler, President of CBS Entertainment, as the first honoree of three (3) at the annual CAPE Soiree to be held on December 2, 2010 at the world famous Los Angeles landmark Vibiana located in Downtown. Ms. Tassler will be awarded with a CAPE Visionary Award for her leadership in championing Asians, Pacific Islanders and diversity both in front and behind the camera in such hit series as the CSI franchise, the NCIS franchise, The Mentalist, the Good Wife, Big Bang Theory, The Amazing Race, Big Brother, and the upcoming Hawaii 5-O series.
"Nina has been a longtime champion of diversity in the industry, both in front of and behind the camera. In the concepts she has developed, casts she has assembled, and staff she has hired, Nina strives for excellence and inclusion", states CAPE Board President Mr. Stephen Tao, "For the last six
