Mr. And Mrs. La Questa Go Dancing, A CIRCA Pintig Benefit Performance

Chicago, IL - Mixed with food and their usual rhythmic gait through tango and cha-cha, Jay and Lori La Questa gather friends to celebrate life of their only son, Boyett. To the outside world, the dance party may seem celebratory and candid but to their inner selves, it is a night of healing, reconciliation and catharsis from an experience that altered their lives forever. And this they would do in a way they know best – through dancing. As they dance the night away, they find themselves retelling stories about their son, both bitter and sweet, finding new meaning from a past that continues to haunt them in their search for peace and acceptance. Mr. And Mrs. La Questa Go Dancing is written by Noel Alumit, an LA-based writer and directed by Giau Truong. The play will run from Oct. 3- 5, 10-12, 8pm, Thurs-Sat. with 4pm shows on Saturdays at Moooh Dulce on 2602 W. Fullerton Chicago, IL. Cast includes Ginger Leopoldo, Joe Yau & George Infantando. Stage managed by Lucian G. Ott and choreography by Kia Smith.

This CIRCA Pintig run will benefit Love Yourself, an organization that promotes HIV awareness prevention and wellness programs in the Filipino American community. Tickets are available through Brown Paper Tickets or visit us at www.circapintig.com. Tickets are $25 and $15 on preview on October 3rd.
