CIRCA’S CALL OUT FOR SCRIPTS EXTENDED!

CIRCA (Center for Immigrant Resources & Community Arts), a Chicago-based community arts organization has extended its call for scripts for a pilot project called Gender Speaks: The Monologue Series. The project is a performance-based program that explores the inner nuances of gender through monologues. For its 2006-2007 Theater Season, the Monologue Series will feature stories about women. We are looking for short monologue pieces (5-15 minutes) both dramatic and comedic.

Performances are scheduled for January 25-27 and February 1-3, 2007 in Chicago.
