CircaPintig weaves stories of resilience and survival in SHORT ACTS!

Chicago, IL - CircaPintig, a not-for-profit community-based theater company is mounting a collection of short plays weaving together stories of haunting memories of self, family and home. This versión of Short Acts features excerpts from CIRCA Pintig’s past productions and monologues that deal with intergenerational conflicts between fathers and sons, mothers and daughters, friends confronting their views on gay marriage and migrants searching for lost identities in the wilderness of diáspora.

Short Acts features an ensemble of CIRCA Pintig veterans and newcomers to include Levi Aliposa, Adriana Cardona-Maguigad, Joey Flores, George Infantado, Ginger Leopoldo, Angeline Mascarenas, Jimmy Reyes, Gildo Robles, Raffy Serrano and Kristina Tendilla. Directed by Louie Pascasio and Daisy Castro, the play runs November 22, 23, 24 and December 6, 7, 8, Fridays and Saturdays at 8pm with matinees on Saturdays and Sundays at 4pm at Moooh Dulce, 2602 W.
