Despina seeks members Aug 06

Desipina & Company is a New York City based, award-nominated South Asian and Asian American theatre and film arts company producing two theater productions a year for the past five years straight. Popular and innovative productions include SEVEN.11 CONVENIENCE THEATRE, which takes seven, eleven-minute plays all set in a convenience store, Rehana Mirza's BARRIERS, Vishakan Jeyakumar's BROKE, Susan Kim's one-woman show, THE MIXTAPE PLAY, TENDULKAR'S WOMEN, a series of Tendulkar monologues, amongst other productions.

Their first volunteer meeting for the 2006-2007 season is TUESDAY, AUGUST 22ND 7PM-9PM. Please email rehana AT desipina.org so that they know how many interested people will be gathered to snack on some munchies.

The following production positions are currently available: Stage Manager, Set Designer, Run Crew, Assistant Stage Manager, Light Designer, Costume Designer, and Production Manager
