East West Players Announces New Staff

East West Players, the nation’s premier Asian American theatre, is proud to announce the addition of two new staff members to the East West Players team: Christine Huynh as the PR/Marketing Manager and Tim Lounibos as the Business Administrator.

Christine Huynh attended Loyola Marymount University where she received her BA in Humanities. She went on to receive her MFA in Creative Writing with an emphasis in Poetry from San Diego State University. She previously worked as a Marketing Specialist for NuVision Federal Credit Union and has worked at Choice USA, a non-profit pro-choice organization. Huynh has been published in various literary journals, such as L.A. Miscellany, Lake Effect, CityWorks Anthology, Border Voices Anthology, and Hunger and Thirst Anthology. In June and December 2007, she had staged readings of her plays, I Love Those Kids and Orange Chicken, at East West Players Theater as part of the David Henry Hwang Writers Institute.

As Business Administrator, Tim Lounibos is responsible for the overall management and staff supervision of the company. Lounibos is a co-founder and co-artistic director of the ground-breaking, critically acclaimed and financially successful Lodestone Theatre Ensemble and brings eleven years of arts administration experience to EWP. Lounibos also produced NY’s 9/11 memorial event My America and LA’s Ammy Awards, is producing the documentary Living In Silence: Toraichi Kono and was Development Manager for aOnline ( “Best Asian American Community Site of 2001”-Yahoo Internet Life Magazine). He has a BA from the University of California, Berkeley.
