EWP ACTORS CONSERVATORY Spring Schedule Announced!

East West Players is now accepting applications for the Spring session of our ACTORS CONSERVATORY. This season's classes include:

Fundamentals of Acting with Jane Cho
Thursday 7 pm to 10 pm, April 20 to June 8
Location: Downtown L.A.
Fee: $350 (ACTS $325)

Fundamentals of Acting III with Leslie Ishii
This beginning 8 week class is a continuation of Fundamentals II. Improvisation, sensory, and character exercises as well as beginning monologue work continue to be explored. *Students are encouraged to enroll in Fundamentals I, II & III. Those who complete the series will qualify to enroll in the Studio Project workshop which will culminate in a performance at the end of the session.
Thursdays 7 pm to 10 pm, April 6 to May 25
Location: Downtown L.A.
Fee: $350 (ACTS $325)

Acting On Camera with Elizabeth Sung
This six-week course will focus on understanding the difference between stage and on-camera acting and learning the basics of film grammar. The class will also address fundamental screenplay structure so students can better understand how scenes fit into the bigger picture and make specific choices that serve the story. Selected scenes from a produced script will be used to take students from first audition to call back, to on-set camera work. Monologues will also be covered for on camera close-up work. The goal is to offer students a practical approach to on-camera acting, from booking the job to delivering the best performance possible. Fee required for xeroxed material.
Mondays 7 pm to 11 pm, April 17 to June 12*
No class on Memorial Day, May 29
Location: TBA
Fee:$375 (ACTS $350)

Scene Study (instructor TBA)
This class focuses on character and script analysis. Intermediate and advanced students only. Audition is required.

Saturdays 10 am to 2 pm, April 15 to June 17
Location: Downtown L.A.
Fee: $375 (ACTS $350)
