Auditions being held for the "EAST meets West JamFest " - a chance to be seen by the Hollywood Entertainment Industry and share the stage with Garrett Wang (Star Trek:Voyager), Ming Na-Wen (ER), Margret Cho and many other rising Asian American stars.

This festival celebration of Asian Pacific Heritage Month will be held at the new (LACMA) Los Angeles County Museum of Art new outdoor Performing Arts complex in the heart of Hollywood promises to be the coolest Asian-American event of the new Year of the Dragon. Come jam with live music, dance, comedy, enjoy Asian-ethnic food & drink for one phenomenal performance! Saturday, May 13th, 2000 - 1pm till 1am!

Studios and Production executives will be invited as AAMD & AsianAvenue guests to meet with the brightest APA talent. Do not miss this first time opportunity for JamFest exposure and discovery!

All performers must apply by March 10th to be on the priority audition list

Priority Applications must be received by March 10, 2000 and accompanied by a non-refundable $25.00 application fee (check / money order ) payable to: Asian American Media Development. Send in a VHS video of your performance 10-30 minutes (if you are unable to audition), or note that you will be available for the March 25-26th audition dates and AAMD will contact you with an audition time.
