East West Offers Creative Play Workshop for Youth

This Summer, East West Players Education Department is offering Creative Play Workshops for children and teens. The one week workshop will help youth meet new friends, build self-confidence, improve communication skills, learn independent thinking, and develop creativity in a fun and supportive environment.

Led by East West Players’ seasoned teaching staff, the workshops will be held at the David Henry Hwang Theatre in the Little Tokyo District of Downtown Los Angeles.

Kids, 8-9 years old
August 20-24 from 9:00am-10:15am; cost $100
A workshop especially designed for kids 8 to 9 years old. By learning the skills of improvisation, students will learn the joys of creativity, self-expression, and imagination.

Kids, 10-12 years old
August 20-24 from 10:30-12:30pm; cost $150
This fun, creative workshop will focus on exploring creativity through improvisation and theatre games. Script reading and basic audition technique will also be introduced
