East West Players Summer Intensive

Get ready for summer intensive 2000! East West Players, the first and foremost Asian American Theatre in the country is offering a six week conservatory beginning July 10th thru August 20th. The summer intensive is a full time program designed to guide actors in all aspects of theatre arts through physical, mental, and vocal challenges. The day begins at 10 am and ends at 4 pm.; tuition fee for the program is $750, plus an additional $50 registration fee.

Classes include: fundamentals of acting, dance, tai chi, voice production, musical theatre, cold reading, scene study and improvisation. Guest speakers are invited for informal discussions to share their personal experiences in theatre and the industry.

The program ends with our traditional "Command Performance" which is an offering of works-in-progress from the six week conservatory. We are proud and excited to have a staff that offers the utmost in creative talent.
