2003 Summer Intensive Workshop
July 7 - August 17, 2003
Monday through Friday, 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Every summer East West Players offers an intensive program designed to give actors an overview of theatre arts through physical, mental and vocal challenges.

Classes include:

  • Dance with Kay Cole
  • Fundamentals of Acting with Dom Magwili
  • Hawaiian Movement with Casey Kono
  • Improvisation with Robert Covarrubias
  • Scene Study with Sab Shimono
  • Speech with Leslie Ishii
  • Musical Theatre with Dan Taguchi

Informal Q & A's from professionals in the industry give you a better understanding and deeper insight into the performing arts, and the television and film industry.

The workshop ends with a "Command Performance," an offering of works-in-progress culminating from the six-week program.

Tuition is $1,200 with a one-time $25 registration fee for new applicants. (Individual classes are available.)
