Expand your child's imagination with Creative Play Workshops!

This summer, East West Players is offering Creative Play Workshops for children and teens. The week-long programs will help youth meet new friends, build self-confidence, improve communication skills, learn independent thinking, and develop creativity in a fun and supportive environment.

Lead by East West Players‚ seasoned teaching staff, the workshops will be held at the David Henry Hwang Theater in the Little Tokyo District of Downtown Los Angeles.

Kids, 8-11 years old
Monday-Friday, August 14-18 from 10 am - noon
Fee: $150
A workshop specially designed for kids 8-11 years old. By learning the basic skills of improvisation, students will experience the joys of creativity, self-expression and imagination.

Teens, 12-16 years old
Monday-Friday, August 21-25 from 10 am - 1 pm
Fee: $175
A high-energy workshop for teens 12-16 years old. Classes in acting, improvisation and dance will introduce students to the fundamentals of performing arts and the wonderful thrills of live theatre. This workshop will feature Hip-Hop sessions with Hawk, a special guest from the SickStep dance company. Check out SickStep's energetic routines at www.sickstep.com
