Fall EWP Conservatory classes now available for enrollment

ACTING FOR NON-ACTORS , Instructor TBA
This class is designed for those seeking self-expression through acting. Focus will be on heightening sensory skills as well as ones imagination, creativity and spontaneity through various exercises. Discover the artist within you in a safe and nurturing environment. Although the class is geared towards non-professionals, the class is also a perfect class for beginning actors.

Dates: 10-week course beginning Monday, Sept. 23 thru Nov. 25
Location: East West Players warehouse. 2338 8th St., Los Angeles, CA
Time: 7:30 10 pm
Cost: $375.00

SCENE STUDY, instructor Heidi Helen Davis
Intermediate and advanced students only. This class delves into the process of scene work and is aimed at developing acting skills through intensive and organic character exploration and detailed scene and script analysis.

Dates: 10-week course beginning Saturday, Sept. 7 thru Nov. 9
Location: East West Players warehouse. 2338 8th St., Los Angeles, CA
Time: 10 am 1 pm Please be aware that class times may change on occasion due to rehearsals for EWP mainstage production.
Cost: $375.00, ACTS members $325.00

STANDUP COMEDY CLASS, instructor Susan Chuang
The first step to overcoming the fear of doing standup is signing up for the class! In this safe, supportive environment, you will learn about comedic structure and delve inside yourself to find your material, your attitude, your essence.

Dates: 6-week course beginning Monday, Oct. 7 thru Nov 11
Location: „The Doghouse‰ in Studio City
Time: 7:30 10:30 pm
Cost: $275.00, ACTS members $225.00

THE FOLLOW-UP, instructor Damona Resnick
Open only to students who have taken Audition/Marketing class.
This class will continue to cover industry topics through discussion and a series of exercises. Goals and career development will be emphasized on a deeper and more personal level.

Dates: 6-week course every other Thursday beginning Sept. 19 thru Dec. 5 (No class on Halloween, make-up class on Dec. 5)

Time: 7:30 10:30 pm
Cost: $275.00, ACTS members $225.00.
