Class Description:
The Meisner Technique was created by Sanford Meisner in New York City in the 1930s. Based on the work of Constantine Stanislavsky, Meisner created a systematic approach for the actor in training to act with a deep personal meaning, a wonderful simplicity and truth; to create with the reality of doing. The technique uses very specific exercises including the Word Repetition Exercise, Emotional Preparation and Relationship Conditioning to name a few. It is a meticulous and expansive process. A step by step, organic and healthy approach to the craft of acting.
