Seeking: Asian-American male actor 30 - 45 to play Gordon Hirabayashi in a one-person show.

Based on the true story of Gordon Hirabayashi, a college student who defied and legally challenged the Japanese American internment during World War II.

Role requires a powerful and charismatic actor able to carry a one-person show of 90 minutes in length.

Must have extensive stage background, versatility in assuming a wide variety of characters, strong stage voice, comic timing, and ability to play both the youthful Gordon in his 20s as well the older Gordon in his 60s.

The character's polite and calm demeanor masks an adventurous spirit, a huge passion for justice and for life.

He is both humble and indomitable with an unquenchable sense of humor.
