If you've ever dreamed about doing stand-up, here's your chance! This workshop will help you get out of the seat and on stage. Through group exercises and writing assignments, you will learn to overcome your inhibitions, and develop your own unique comedy voice in a supportive environment. We will explore the styles of top comics as well as some of the hottest new ones. Upon completion of this workshop, you will have the opportunity to perform for your friends and family!

Phil Nee got his start in comedy after his friends dared him to get up pat the famed Improv club in N.Y. He later won Showtime's "Funniest Person in America" contest. He has also appeared on MTV, Comedy Central, NBC and headlined at colleges and clubs throughout the country. His one man show, "The Last of the Nees" was performed at East West Theatre in L.A., Highways in Santa Monica, and Performance Space NBC in NYC. He is also a member of the improv group, Cold Tofu.
