Fundamentals of Acting I
Instruction by Dom Magwili
When: Tuesdays
January 5 - February 23 (8 wks)

A comprehensive look at essential skills for the beginning actor. It includes a broad look at acting techniques with focused attention on how to prepare for a role, approach character work, as well as develop an appreciation for professional values and creativity.
Fee: $375 (ACTS $350)

Time: 7-10 pm

Voice & Speech (V & S)
Instruction by Leslie Ishii
When: Thursdays
February 11 - April 1 (8 wks.)

This course will feature on-going voice and speech technique and will demonstrate how the use of these techniques support the actor to bring the text analysis off the page to increase the richness and level of play in their acting performances. Besure to wear comfortable clothing and bring your yoga mat!

Studio Lab Project (SLP)
Instruction by Leslie Ishii
When: Wednesdays, February 10 - May 19 (15 wks)

This 15-week workshop is restricted to students who have completed the Fundamentals of Acting series of classes. However those with prior acting experience may apply. First time students wishing to enroll must be approved by instructor. Past studio lab students are eligible to enroll. Workshop culminates in a works-in-progress performance by students in a play selected by instructor/director Leslie Ishii. Commitment to all sessions is required for participation in the Studio Lab Project.
