"EVERY THING YOU WANTED TO KNOW ABOUT ASIAN MEN..." PERFORMS AT EAST WEST PLAYERS

EVERYTHING YOU WANTED TO KNOW ABOUT ASIAN MEN. New original works by members of Dan Kwong's Autobiographical Writing/Performing Workshop, will perform August 14-16 at East West Players' David Henry Hwang Theater at the Union Center for the Arts.

The theater is located in Little Tokyo at 120 N. Judge John Aiso Street (formerly N. San Pedro Street, between First and Temple Streets). Show times are Friday and Saturday evenings at 8 pm and Sunday matinee at 2 pm. Ticket paces are $10 for general admission and $7 for seniors and students with valid I.D. Patrons can reserve tickets by calling the East West Players administrative office at 212-625-7000, Monday through Friday 10 am to 6 pm (cash or check only).

Directed by Dan Kwong and Gary San Angel, EVERYTHING, YOU WANTED TO KNOW ABOUT ASIAN MEN... showcases new works by members of Dan Kwong's Autobiographical Writing/Performing Workshop, which was founded in 1994. New members include: Peter Ha, Rodney Kageyama, Pete Lee, Hiep The Mai Matthew Narita Phil Nee, Craig Ng, Oliver Quirante, Michael Salamon, Jose Ku Sia, Jr., Peter James Smith, Jimmy Taenaka, Dennis Villacorte, Bryan Yamani, and Harry Young.

Dan Kwong is an award-winning performance/visual artist, teacher, and writer who has been touring nationally with his solo multimedia work since 1989. Gary San Angel is an experimental performance artist/actor and original member of Everything You Wanted To Know About Asian Men... Soon after moving to New York in 1995, he founded Feeling the Banana, an Asian American performance workshop/ensemble that continues under his - leadership.
