AUDITIONS FOR ALANI APIO’S K?MAU

Directors Wil Kahele and Harry Wong are seeking actors for Kumu Kahua Theatre’s production of Alani Apio’s K?mau, opening in March 2007.   Roles are available for ten actors: three Hawaiian males, age 20s; one 1ocal male, age 20s; one Hawaiian female in her 60s; two Caucasian females, one in her 20s, the other in her 60s; one Hapa pre-teen female; one Asian female in her 30s; one Caucasian male in his 60s. Auditions will be at Kumu Kahua Theatre and will consist of cold readings from the script, some movement and improv work.  Auditioners should come early and stay for the whole time.  Scripts are available for loan with a $10 cash deposit at Kumu Kahua Theatre.  Auditions will be held at Anna Fishburn Casting, 1121 Nuuanu Avenue, Suite 200--above Indigo Restaurant; Noon to 3pm on Saturday, January 13, and 7pm to 9pm on Sunday, January 14.  Call 536-4222 for more information.
