What's winter when you can still play by the pool...or rather, play pool. On Wednesday, November 18 make waves at the Loud Mouth Asian Babes Winter Pool Party at The Charlotte Room -- one of Torontoís best kept secrets (19 Charlotte Street). Doors open at 5:30pm with tournament registration at 8:00pm. This event is a benefit for the 1999 multimedia theatre production of The Yoko Ono Project, written and directed by Jean Yoon.

One ticket gets you into a rockin'í party in one of Canada's Top 3 pool halls (Billiards Digest of America), and an opportunity to win a whole lot of great prizes. Play socially to non-stop music, sample munchies supplied by The Charlotte Room, and pick up tips from our veteran billiards pro, Tina Hardt. More serious players can compete for prizes in a 2-on-2 pool tournament while hardened pool sharks can try their hand at beating the pro for a modest challenge fee.

And yeah, we have this sassy "Swimsuit Contest". It's really objective, so no worries. Everybody is encouraged to bring and enter their swimsuits...no modelling required/desired.

Prizes from Torontoís entertainment industry include CDs, tickets to the symphany, theatre, the Reel Asian Film Festival, the AGO, ROM, swanky magazine subscriptions, books, pampering, and much more! (See the prize list below)

Loud Mouth Asian Babes (LMAB) is dedicated to the development and production of new works by, for, and about Loud Mouth Asian women who may or may not be babes, Loud Mouth Asians who may or may not be women, and Loud Mouth Babes that Loud Mouth Asians really dig. Irrepressible, aggressively irreverent. Theatre for the dis/Oriented and the culturally confused.
