Pan Asian presents two summer workshops


2009 ACTING AND WRITING WORKSHOP
With Ernest Abuba

An intensive five session course.
Acting instruction focuses on scenes from Chekhov’s THREE SISTERS and THE SEAGULL and Shakespeare’s RICHARD II and RICHARD III. Writing instruction includes one-on-one input as well as work-shopping with other participants. This course is open to actors, writers and solo performers, beginners to experienced.

Workshop Schedule: Wednesdays June 3, 10, 17, 24, and July 1; 6pm – 9pm
Tuition: $250 for five sessions.
Payments are for all five sessions and are non-refundable.


4 MASTER CLASSES IN OKINAWAN DANCE

With Master Choreographer, Sachiyo Ito

This offering will include instructions on the
basic movements & techniques of the Okinawan court dance
developed in 18th century; the male dance based on Karate;
the female dance with an emphasis on hand gestures,
often compared with Indonesian dance.

Workshop Schedule: Tuesdays July 7, 14, 21 and 28; 6 pm — 8 pm
Tuition: $200 for four sessions.
Payments are for all four sessions and are non-refundable.
