PING CHONG & COMPANY IS SEEKING A SPRING INTERN

Ping Chong & Company, a nationally-recognized not-for-profit experimental theater company in its 35th year, is seeking a self-motivated and organized individual for Winter-Spring 2011. We are seeking a cheerful and enthusiastic undergraduate or recent graduate who will work closely with the office staff and provide administrative support to daily office routines as well as other general office management projects such as project research, archives, database management. Internships can also be sub-specialized, depending on interest. Possible areas of focus may include: Development, Marketing/Web Development, Production Assistance, Community-based Theater and Arts Education.

Qualifications: Good organizational skills and detail oriented, general knowledge of computer and office software navigation, ability to accomplish multiple tasks under deadline, ability to work well both independently and with others, sense of humor, knowledge and experience working in the performing arts, particularly in the “downtown” arts community. Multi-lingual is a plus.
