CIRCA-Pintig is an arts organization dedicated to the development and popularization of community arts aesthetic and pedagogy that speak of the immigrant experience within the changing multicultural landscape of America. It was founded in 1991 by a group of artists, educators, community organizers and cultural activists from the Filipino American community emboldened by a theater philosophy that celebrates the histories and artistic legacies of America's diverse cultural terrain through participatory art creation.

-Our vision is a vibrant community fully empowered to determine its collective identities and destinies.

-We believe in the arts as a powerful tool for self-discovery and self-expression, for reflecting the collective experiences, struggles, and dreams of immigrant communities in America. Art as an intrinsic part of a community's life and is vital to its growth and continued existence.

-Our Mission is to develop artistic and educational programs that promotes social awareness and community engagement by providing alternative means for artists and practitioners of cultural arts and
traditions to articulate their aesthetics and share their work with a larger audience.
