APRIL TELEVISION SHOWINGS IN NORTHERN VIRGINA. Philippine-American relations in history which is unknown to most viewers is the focus of "LAMBAT PRESENTS . . ." CHANNEL 33 A.C.T. Arlington Cable Access (SUNs 8pm & WEDs 10:30am). Production interviews of cast and crew of IN THE MATTER OF WILLIE GRAYSON. Three sets of interviews feature (1) Happy Salinas, Joe Montano Jr. and Tony Collins as Host Jay Caragay focuses on the historical aspects of the Philippine American War of 1899,labeled in the past as the Philippine Insurrection; he interviews members of a fantasy cosmic tribunal investigating why wars are started. (Set 2) Interview of Jeff Brown, Raf Toledo & Chris Wolden playing their roles as Pre. William McKinley, Gen. Emilio Aguinaldo and Willie Grayson respectively. (Set 3)Interview by A. Demitrius Brown of Rod Garcia (Apolinario Mabini) and Josef Villanasco (Pedro Paterno), members of the Filipino conclave of leaders during the war years.

AMERICAN UNIVERSITY, Washington DC - APRIL 13. Filipino American law students will gather for a keynote speech by Ambassador Ernesto Maceda. The evening will also highlight the comedy reading of QBd Ink's Duck Eggs, a short story by Fatima Lim Wilson adapted by Reme Grefalda, featuring Josef Villanasco, Remy Cabacungan, Charissa Almonte, Christian Wolden and Sharon Demilt.

WASHINGTON DC CITY PAPER APRIL 7 WEEKLY's feature article on the Asian American Theatre scene written by Amy Alipio mentions QBd Ink as the only theatre company since 1994 serving the Filipino community and is the longest-running Asian American theatre group in the DC scene where Asian-American actors can reliably play a leading role, as opposed to stereotypical parts.
