Angels In America, Part 2: Perestroika is the riveting drama of America lost to the destructive terror of AIDS, the collapse of morality and the disintegration of tolerance. This "Gay Fantasia on National Themes" is a touching exploration of relationships, sex, religion, politics and ultimately hope. Written in 1994 and set in New York from 1986-1990, it is as poignant today as ever. Perestroika, which contains most of the action of this epic 2-part cycle, picks up immediately where Millenium Approaches left off after introducing the setting and character backgrounds. The Seattle premiere of Angels In America, Part 2: Perestroika was presented at the Intiman Theatre in 1995. The script for Angels In America, Part 2: Perestroika was recently revised by Kushner and ReAct is excited to present this new revision to Seattle audiences for the first time.
