San Diego's Asian American Repertory Theatre seeks one-acts
We are currently considering one-person acts for a multi-week run in early 2007. The artist should be Asian, the act should be approximately 1 hour long, minimal set (no set would be our preference), with a theme that would appeal to the younger Asian American generation. Though not a prerequisite, we would give strong preference to San Diegan natives, consistent with our mandate. Financial remuneration is included and would be in-line with a small, Asian regional theatre.Other than the parameters set out above, we are wide open to content, medium, themes, etc. Please email all relevant info (a video of your performance would be great) and inquiries to lnguyen@asianamericanrep.org by August 1st.
