Acting Call for Golden Child in Chicago

Silk Road Theatre Project , a Chicago based theatre showcasing playwrights of Asian, Middle Eastern, and Mediterranean backgrounds, is looking for an East Asian-American Equity male actor in his 40's or 50's to play the role of Eng Tieng-Bin in our Midwest premiere of David Henry Hwang's Golden Child. Rehearsals begin Jan 21, Previews March 1 - 9, Opening March 10, Through April 22, with a possible extension through May 6 (must be available for the full January 21 - May 6 commitment). SRTP will provide round trip airfare, a $2000.00 housing stipend, and pay at the CAT-N rate ($233/week) for rehearsal and performance weeks.
