Stir-Friday Night's Yellow Menace Invades the West CoastCome celebrate Asian-Pacific Heritage Month with Invasion of the Yellow Menace, the fresh new revue by Stir-Friday Night!, Chicago's premiere Asian-American sketch comedy troupe. Hailed by the Chicago Reader as the sketch comedy group that "both motivates laughter and provokes thought," Stir-Friday Night! finishes off a string of college performances and a set at The Chicago Improv Festival to journey to the West Coast to share their unique and fresh angle of sketch comedy. Invasion of the Yellow Menace is fun, relevant, and exciting -- weaving current events, historical relevancy and poignancy into a tight, hilarious revue. Although Stir-Friday Night's material is never exclusively Asian-based, it certainly seeks to display a more humanistic side to Asians, and furthermore, strives to use the universality of humor to create better understanding between all groups. Come experience the "Invasion of the Yellow Menace." Rob Reese serves as script supervisor and also directs the all-star cast of Daisy Castro, Wayne Eji, Maria Faelnar, Paul "Choky" Lim, Jennifer Liu, Ron Mok, Eddie "Shindig" Shin, Quincy Wong, and Joe Yau while Michael Stevenson serves as technical director.
