Impact Theatre holds contest

$300 Prize for Best Play!!!

Impact Theatre in Berkeley, California is seeking new, unproduced scripts!

Is your script

a. cool-ass? (Note: We also accept "kick-ass")
b. relevant, interesting, and appropriate for actors and audience members ranging in age from about 16 to 35?
c. full-length, unproduced, and unpublished?

Then send it in! What are you waiting for? We know you could use 300 bucks!

First place will receive the aforementioned 300 clams plus a staged reading and a possible full production. Send a hard copy (no cyber-submissions, please) to Melissa Hillman, Impact Theatre, P.O. Box 12666, Berkeley, CA 94712-3666. Include a SASE if you want your work returned. All entries must be postmarked by May 10, 2000. Impact Theatre ABSOLUTELY, POSITIVELY DOES NOT NOT NOT discriminate based upon gender, race, sexuality, age, height, favorite dessert topping, yadda yadda yadda. We hate that. We discriminate based only on the relative ass-kickage, mad awesomeness or fat grooviness of scripts.
