CHARACTER DESCRIPTIONS:

Note: All characters are South Asian, raised in the U.S.

Ashish: early 30's. Unremarkable in appearance. A mechanical engineer, he is married to Radha. Ashish is unfulfilled in all areas of his life - marriage, family, work. He was always one of the last to get picked for the team. Uncomfortable in his own skin. Chronically nervous and spontaneously irrational.

Radha: late 20s - early 30's. Ashish's wife and mother of their 5 year old son. She could be attractive but she tries too hard not to be. An intelligent woman educated in the field of psychology, she was raised in the US but under traditional Indian family influences. She is very uncomfortable with her own body and sexuality.

Jay: early 30's. Handsome, cocky, relaxed. A successful plastic surgeon. Jay's mother put her son on a pedestal the day he was born and he hasn't fallen off since. A magnetic personality and sense of entitlement toward all things attractive, yet within there may be a yearning for something deeper.

Annika: 20s. Jay's wife. Beautiful with strong sex appeal. Sexually confidant and provocative. Grew up priveleged. Smart, but doesn't know she is. Her outward confidence masks deep insecurity. Sometimes her youth shows.
