Amy Hill moves to NBC!!

"They were looking for a guy so they hired me..." says Amy as she explains her new role as "Suji" a Korean American tabloid photographer on THE NAKED TRUTH in it's third season on prime time. "My character is like Danny Devito in drag...very tough and ruthless in getting the million dollar shots that make celebrities cringe...of course she's also very vulnerable, too."

Amy will also be honored at the annual Woman Warrior Awards September 25th, hosted by the Asian Pacific Women's Network. This award joins her recent "Visonary Award" from East West Players.

Slant preps for the fall

The Slant Performance Group will be performing new material on Wednesday, October 1st, 8 PM at Dance Theater Workshop's Hit & Run Festival. Rick Ebihara and Wayland Quintero will be showing three short comedic scenes and a song from their upcoming December show at La Mama Theater. (Perry Yung is out of town until mid-October).

The Slant performance run at the La Mama first floor theater will be December 8-21. The new piece is currently titled- Squeal Like a Pig, a PopOperatta.

On October 1st Rick and Wayland will be sharing the hour-long evening with another group of zany artists- Patricia Hoffbauer 8 George Emilio Sanchez. It promises to be an entertaining & diverse performance.
