Tsunami seeks scripts

Tsunami Theatre seeks scripts for its National Asian American Theatre Festival in February/March 2000. The Festival is a progressive venue for new plays that seek to answer what is the new Asian American aesthetic.

Tsunami Theatre is an professional Asian American theatre company in Washington, DC. Our mission is to produce works for and by Asian Americans, to create an arena for the development of Asian American theatre artists, and to promote a greater understanding and awareness of the Asian American experience within the Washington and National community at large.

Q: I m not Asian American; can I still send in my script?
A: Different voices and multi-cultural casts are encouraged to reflect the changes in America.

Q: Are there any limits to what I can submit?
A: Scripts of any length are accepted. Playwrights may submit up to three scripts per festival.

Q: How will my play be produced?
A: Festival productions range from readings to small productions.
