1st Place and taking home the coveted Vancouver Rice Bowl is

2nd Place is SFUU MAN CHU with Duran Cruickshank, Nicole Deslauriers, Josette Jorge, Ric Lee, Ashley McMullen, Nigel Wakita, and Fiona Walsh. 3rd Place is DISORIENTAL with Brandon Barton, Edwina Cheer, and Kristal Yee. The PEOPLE's CHOYS AWARD went to DISORIENTAL with Brandon Barton, Edwina Cheer, and Kristal Yee.

- Note! Silk Road Theatre wins award!
On Thursday, April 26, 2007, the Asian American Institute presented its Milestone Makers Award to Silk Road Theatre Project, in recognition of Silk Road's contributions to the Asian American community and to Asian American arts. Milestone Makers are distinguished for combating stereotypes of Asians and Asian Americans, and for advancing the overall profile of Asian Pacific communities. The award was presented to company co-founders Malik Gillani and Jamil Khoury at the Asian American Institute's 15th Anniversary Gala Benefit held at the Mid-America Club.
