Note: It turns out George Takei won't be available in February. Film, radio and TV commitments have intervened. So the Asian American Theater Company has postponed its revival of "Yankee Dawg You Die," in which he was to star. The long-popular, biting comedy about Asian American stereotyping in Hollywood, by Philip Kan Gotanda, has been tentatively rescheduled for the 2008-09 season. The company is seeking a midseason replacement, and advance-ticket purchases for "Yankee Dawg" will be refunded. Updates available at www.asianamericantheater.org (posted 12/20/06)
